Sourdough Starter Pack

Your Sourdough baking journey starts here!

Our Sourdough Starter Pack contains a water-activated sourdough starter culture that will provide a perpetual source of sourdough yeast for as long as you care for it. Just add flour and water, then using your Launchpad to provide a bed of natural warmth, watch it come to life in minutes (not days!)

Each Starter Pack includes:

• A water-activated sourdough starter culture.
• A cotton cloth covering, name tag and thermometer card to measure the optimal room temp for activation. 
• A Launchpad, which you can activate provide a bed of natural warmth to ensure a happy, bubbly starter every time, even in a chilly room.
• Step-by-step activation guide and access to a library of sourdough recipes created exclusively for us by Australia's best bakers.
• A cotton bread bag for your delicious, crusty creations!

The starter culture in this pack is 100% gluten-free, so can be used to make gluten-free sourdough bread.

$1 from every order will be donated to The Bread & Butter Project - Australia’s first social enterprise bakery. 

Please note:

- This pack contains the starter culture only and will require additional ingredients to make bread (flour & water). You'll also need a jar, container or glass to keep your starter culture in.

-The Sourdough Starter Pack can be stored for up to six months before first activation.

- Guides and Recipes are accessible online only. 

- The Sourdough Stater Culture contains traces of milk, and as such is not suitable for a vegan diet or for anyone with intolerances of/allergies to dairy.
