Privacy & Cookie Policy
The term “our services” refers to our online services and any of our other products and services offered from time to time. If you use any of our services, we will refer to you using the terms “user”, “visitor”, “you”, “your”, “yours” in this policy.

We respect the privacy rights of our visitors and recognise the importance of protecting the information collected about them. This privacy & cookie policy is about how we collect, store, and use the personal information that you provide to us. As part of our commitment to your privacy rights and security.

How this information may be used
Whenever you give us your personal information we will use it in accordance with applicable privacy laws and for the purposes set out in this policy, on the data entry forms you complete, in any relevant terms and conditions and on pages or emails which link to the data entry forms.

Social networks
If you follow us or interact with us on any of our pages on third party social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook or YouTube, information you provide will be subject to the third party’s privacy policy, as well as this privacy policy.

Your account
We collect your account information for internal use only and we do not share this information with our third parties. When you log into your account or register you acknowledge all privacy statements in relation to your account. We do not sell your details nor do we amend your account details without your prior given consent.

Tracking how our online services are used
We collect, and use third parties to collect and share with us, information from lots of visitors to our online services and analyse it to build up a picture of how people use our website, such as the Google Analytics cookies and Google advertising cookies. This helps us improve the services we offer. We may also give anonymous statistics about visitors to other, reputable organisations, but the information we provide will not include details that would allow these organisations to identify you.

Customisation of our online services and advert targeting
We may use the information you give us about yourself and the information we collect via cookies when you use our online services to build up a picture of your interests. We may then use this information to try to make sure that when we send you marketing communications and when you visit our websites or use our online services, you don’t miss offers and information that might interest you. This information may also be used by our third party advertising agencies and networks, to advertise our own or third party products and services to you when you visit third party websites and online services. 

We may use the remarketing capabilities of third parties such as Google and Facebook, to enable us to reach people who have previously visited our website and provided them with more relevant advertising content. Our marketing ads may also show to these customers when they visit other websites in the Google Display Network. Remarketing is a feature of interest-based advertising that helps you match interested people with the right message. 

Advertising Reporting Features
We will collect cookies and information to create a profile of Audience Demographics and Interests Reporting, use Google’s DoubleClick Campaign Manager reporting, DoubleClick Bid Manager reporting, and Google Display Network Impression Reporting to fulfil our marketing initiatives. This will be only used by Sourdough Starter to create future marketing campaigns and track the effectiveness of existing and past campaigns.

Marketing OPT-IN and OPT- OUT Provision
We offer you the chance to receive Sourdough Starter news and updates which, depending on your preferences, we will share with you via email and/or social media channels. These include alerts for new products, special offers, events of interest, and marketing promotions. You can opt-out of receiving these updates at any time if you wish.

We, or our third-party business partners, may also ask you if you want to receive marketing if you enter a promotion or attend an event thrown or sponsored by us.

You have the right to ask us not to use your personal information for marketing. At all times, we will offer you the opportunity to unsubscribe from any service or update to which you have subscribed, if you change your mind. Whenever you receive direct marketing from us, we will tell you how to unsubscribe.

Joining our mailing list

In joining the Sourdough Starter mailing list, you are giving permission for us to email you promotional material and special invitations. With your permission we may also record your choice of purchases to enable us to advise you personally of similar deliveries in the future.

Sourdough Starter will conscientiously take all reasonable steps to ensure the information we collect and retain is current, correct and completely confidential. Your details are stored on a secure server and can only be accessed by authorised personnel. Any information recorded is used for our personal communications only and never shared with third parties external to Sourdough Starter.

Use and Disclosure
We only use personal information for the purpose which was requested of us, or for the purposes which directly relate to one of our functions or activities. We will not provide your personal information to other entities or bodies, or any other party unless one of the following applies (as per and in line with APP 6 - use and disclosure of personal information):
• You have consented.
• You would reasonably expect, or have been informed, that information of such kind would be passed on to those individuals, entities or bodies (for more information, see subclause 6.2).
• It is otherwise required or authorised by law, or reasonably necessary for the enforcement of a criminal law or of a law imposing a pecuniary penalty, or for the protection of public revenue.
• It may prevent or lessen a serious and imminent threat to somebody's life or health.

When purchasing from Sourdough Starter your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology.
