Let's start with the honest bit: you don't need this. Our Complete Sourdough Kit has everything you need to bake brilliant loaves, full stop. The DoughBed is for bakers who want to take one more variable off the table - specifically, cool kitchens in winter. It's very much a nice-to-have.

But we have to say... it's a very nice nice-to-have. If you've ever left your dough out overnight in a chilly kitchen and woken up to something dense and lifeless, you know the problem. Sourdough loves a steady 24-28°C, and most kitchens just don't sit there naturally - particularly if you're doing the all-important bulk proof overnight. The DoughBed gives your dough that warm, even spot to do its thing. After a cosy night in DoughBed, your dough comes out bubbly and slightly warm to the touch - easy to shape, ready to bake.

It's honestly beautiful, too. A wide glass bowl, a cork lid, a tidy matte black warming mat with a tuck-away cord. No tangles, no tents, no science-lab look - something you'd be genuinely happy to have sitting on your counter.

Set it up, plug it in, one gold light tells you it's warming. That's it.

Works for sourdough, yeast breads, and quick breads. Fits a 1.5kg flour dough with room to double.

We can ship to any addresses in Australia, the USA or New Zealand.

All orders to Australia and New Zealand are sent from Geelong, Victoria.

All orders to the USA are sent from Portland, Oregon.

The price displayed on our product pages is the total price (excluding shipping) - there are are no additional taxes or duties to pay on any of our products. 

Tracking is included with every order. You will be emailed a link to track your order as soon as it is shipped.

 

Returns

Unopened product can be returned for a refund within 7 days of purchase. If you would like to return your order, please send us an email with your order number.

If your product has been opened, we are unable to accept it as a return.
